Meet Craig Fowlkes

Craig Fowlkes is the founder and creative force behind Good Time Mascots Events & Decor, a Columbus, Ohio–based event company dedicated to transforming meaningful occasions into memorable, personalized experiences.

Founded in 2014, Good Time Mascots began with Craig’s passion for bringing joy to families and communities through mascot entertainment. What started as a focused entertainment service steadily grew into a full-service event company offering event planning, coordination, design, décor, balloon installations, draping, custom backdrops, photo-booth experiences, concessions, DJ and audio-visual support, custom graphics, and complete event-production assistance.

Craig’s approach combines creativity with careful execution. He believes every event should reflect the client’s personality, purpose, culture, and vision rather than feel like a standard, one-size-fits-all package. Whether producing an intimate family celebration, a wedding, graduation, corporate gathering, church conference, nonprofit fundraiser, community festival, or celebration of life, he remains personally involved in shaping the concept and ensuring the details work together cohesively.

Over more than a decade in the event industry, Craig has developed a reputation for versatility, resourcefulness, and hands-on leadership. His experience extends beyond décor and entertainment into event logistics, vendor coordination, timeline development, room transformations, guest experiences, technical production, and behind-the-scenes problem-solving. His goal is not simply to make an event look impressive, but to create an experience that feels organized, intentional, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Good Time Mascots Events & Decor is proudly family-owned and minority-owned. Craig frequently works alongside his mother, Paula Wilkins-Goldsmith, whose balloon artistry and event-design experience add another level of creativity and personal care to the company’s productions. Together, they bring warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to serving each client well.

Craig and his team have supported events for families, schools, churches, hospitals, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and community partners throughout Central Ohio.
